WildTruth Foundation is a South Africa-based nonprofit organisation founded in 2025. Its mission is to investigate, document, and raise awareness about wildlife crime, environmental destruction, and human-wildlife conflict across the country. Through immersive journalism, community collaboration, and advocacy, WildTruth brings the unseen into the spotlight—ensuring accountability and protecting Africa’s fragile biodiversity. 

WildTruth Foundation is agile, bold, and built for impact. Through media, fieldwork, and education, it seeks to create real change in South Africa’s conservation landscape.

WILDTRUTH ACADEMY

Environmental Journalism Courses & Training

Hands-on workshops and short courses to empower aspiring environmental journalists in South Africa. Led by Leticia Cox, who holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism, these programs will focus on investigative skills, ethical reporting, and conservation storytelling.

WildTruth is led by Leticia Cox—aka LensTraveller—a seasoned investigative journalist and multimedia specialist with over 20 years of experience reporting on wildlife crime, conservation, and human rights. Her extensive fieldwork, from rhino poaching in Kruger to vulture trafficking in KZN, ensures that WildTruth is driven by firsthand knowledge, not theory.
